TIMOTHY H. TRONE, M.D.

Dr. Trone

Dr. Trone is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas in 1974. Upon completing a surgical internship in 1975 at the University of Mississippi Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, Dr. Trone began his Otolaryngology Residency at Parkland Hospital.While training at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas, the program consisted of two years of General Surgery training and three years in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery training. He completed his residency from University of Southwestern Medical School and affiliated hospitals in 1979. Dr. Trone is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Trone has been practicing in the field of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery since 1979. His areas of expertise and experience include pediatric airway, pediatric and adult sinus surgery, and evaluation of surgery for sleep apnea.

THOMAS Y. HUNG, M.D.

Dr. Hung graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1996. Upon completing his general surgery internship at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Dr. Hung began his residency in Otolaryngology at Duke University Medical Center. After finishing his residency in 2001, Dr. Hung completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and subsequently joined the faculty at Duke, where he was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor as well as Chief of Otolaryngology at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Hung is board certified by both the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Hung’s areas of experience and expertise include pediatric and adult sinus disease, tumors of the parotid and thyroid gland, and reconstruction of facial scars and skin cancers.
